This missed the mark on several fronts for me.
I love a minimal plot romcom as long as the characters are well developed. Unfortunately, this one was a plot I’ve read before with characters I didn’t care for. Normally, I am able to separate my personal feelings from the book and still find a group of people I’d recommend it to (to each their own, you know? Just because I didn’t love it doesn’t mean others won’t), but I honestly don’t know of one situation where I’d recommend this.
