I’m gonna keep this one short this time! Just like the first book, this one was beautifully written! And yet again I find myself giving a romance 5 stars! All the feelings you feel reading this series is insane! Now onto the novella!

“Salem told me once, that she wanted to have the confidence of wildflowers. She wanted to grow and thrive no matter what life tossed her way. And she’s done just that. But if she had the confidence of wildflowers, then I was the resurrection of wildflowers.”

I would give this book 2.75 stars. It was easy reading and I did enjoy it, but not as much as the first one. I found myself rolling my eyes and feeling a little barf worthy with some of the outcomes. It made me uncomfortable with some choices made. It moved fast, particularly with what experiences the characters went through throughout both of the books. There was definitely not enough time given for healing from the traumas, therefore leading me to feel their relationship not being as sincere due to the lack of honouring their separate emotional journeys. However saying that, after all the time lost, some people quite possibly would have not wanted to waste anymore of it and would be happy to push their feelings aside to make the most of the time left. It just wouldn’t work for me and I don’t think it’s healthy to leave these types of hurts un-dealt with.
