Giving 2 stars just because the first 100 pages were good and then like 10 random chapters throughout the first 450 pages.
I only had 97 pages left in this book...but I was forcing myself to finish and I finally just had enough. I don't want to read a 600 page book just to feel all of the emotions in the last 100 pages. Which is exactly what this book and the 2nd book gave me.
I loved the first book! I gave it 5 stars. Then I started noticing by the 2nd book that I was really going to have to buckle down and try to finish the series. These books just felt way to long. They are only 500-600 pages which isn't that much to me. But by the time i reached the 400 page mark i was like wait...there's more. Everything from the second book till this book, things just dragged out way longer than they needed to be. And knowing that i have felt this since the 2nd book, i refuse to suffer through this book AND then another 2 books on top of that.

tbh idk much that happened in this book lollll i feel like it was really info dumpy in the middle for a 3rd book i was half listening to the end but i guess big things happened? oops im gonna read the last 2 books on KU bc im not spending audible credits on them
