This is the third book in the Shadow and Crown Series and it was absolutely sensational.
Book two, A Twist of the Blade, ended on an epic cliff hanger and this book started right in the thick of it. This installment is full of epic battles, truely heartbreaking moments and does exactly what a 3/5 book arc should do, it answers alot of questions whilst provide some amazing foreshadowing.
I do not want to spoil this book (or the series for those who have not yet embarked on this bookish journey) by providing too many reasons for loving this book. However I will say:

The twists were unexpected but entertaining. This book ended on a cliffhanger that will make you want to jump right into book 4! Can’t wait to continue Casia and Elander’s story!

I did not see those major plot twists coming at the end!! This was sooo good! Lots of character development, and this whole series so far has done such a good job with showing Cas' anxiety but I feel like this one was on another level. I can't wait to start the next one!
