what I did like about Robert Miltner's poetry was that it wasn't what I considered to be standard poetry. It had a freshness about it, a modernity and new style that I haven't encountered before. Though some of his writings I didn't quite get or get all the way through it in one shot, there were a few that really struck a chord with me. His poem "Greed" especially. His writings hold such vividness and imagery that it's hard to not get pulled into his world.
I like how his work is broken up in paragraphs and lines, and that it holds three sections for his work. I'm sure that there is a reason as to why it was broken up like it was, but I couldn't tell on the first read through. I like the cover art and think it fits well with his poems, it's shattered and broken down like many of his writings and using the photoshop as the designers have, gives it that extra abstraction that shows in the poems.
