4.25 out of 5 Stars: I loved the recap in the beginning of this book and wish more authors would. It sets the story and brings you back into the setting of Mure even more. Now that being said there were times I truly deeply disliked Joel because every time he goes forward he seems to take 5 steps back.

For positives I wants to protect Ash from the world and snuggle him to death he is now my fictional nephew. Gaspar's attitude also made me giggle seeing his sarcasm and sometimes his softness even when he tries to hide it.

The wedding advice was also everything.

This is definitely a series you want to read in order, and I absolutely adore the characters and setting.

You can laugh, raise an eyebrow sometimes at a few of them, and I totally cried a little but refuse to put spoilers here. Absolutely recommend.

Ugh, this better not be the final book in the series. I just really love Mure and all its inhabitants. 'An Island Wedding' was lovely and funny and romantic as usual, but sadly it was heartbreaking as well
