What a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Charming short book with beautiful photographs. I was transported to Paris for a little while. Highly recommend! Added bonus- would make a great present for anyone who really wants to travel to Paris.

A rare travel book that can really paint a picture with its words and then offer beautiful corresponding photos right at the moment you need them, so you can savor each section without wanting to rush to the next. However, a few of the images were a little busier than I feel fit the otherwise tranquil and whimsical writing (cluttered architectural shots, or too many people in the photo, etc), but that's really my only complaint. I look forward to seeing more in this series. I agree with the other reviewers that this is best read outside, or at least with some coffee/tea and a nice view.

The pictures are five stars, but the writing is a little cliché in places. Overall, I enjoyed imaging the streets of a city that I’ve walk before in the light of someone else’s (albeit fictional) experience.

I absolutely loved it. What a perfection combination of words and photographs that evoke the sights, sounds, smells, tastes and feel of a day in Paris.

This makes you so melancholic and your heart will ache for Paris.
Such lovely insights and artsy perspectives, would re-read it to dive into a little trip to France in my head. Wonderful, short and somewhat emotional and wholesome.
