I'd already learned this stuff(not surprising that I knew the early material...). I was really hoping for a more in-depth dive into history post WWII, but it was not here.

This book is a great tool for outlining basic history content needed and makes it entertaining. This is a great tool for middle schoolers and really builds a solid understanding of history for them!

This was going to get a 4 star from me, until the last 50 pages. For a book published in 2016, it doesn't talk a lot about anything after 1990's, which is a huge part of recent history. I do appreciate the overview of history, and it's attempt to be non-partisan.

Absolutely loved this. We are using this book as a base for our homeschool kids and just get extra supplemental things to add with it.
