I don't know why it looked good. Thought it would be cheeky, full of puns or something. Satirical depictions of millenials. Art work is breathtaking and that's it. If I wanted to read tweets, texts etc I'd text friends. Vapid nonsense dribble that infuriated me by its unimportance and lack of anything memorable. I feel like I'm being to harsh and then I reflect back and want to write more.

This was fun and the art was beautiful. I will be continuing the series.

interesting but chaotic and kinda shallowish so im hoping for growth

the COLORS and ART is sooo pretty!!!

I've been curious about this for ages, because of Scott Pilgrim (and Seconds!) but I haven't been able to get into it too much. I think I will miss something about it but I don't understand what the point is or why these random violent things are happening, so I'm kind of relieved to remove it from my list.

Positives: easy to read, the art, I like the concept

The plot was difficult to follow it kept jumping around so much that the scenes felt choppy and didn’t flow. The main character was annoying and the rest of them are pretty vapid. They also depict most of the characters of color in a negative light. The assistant to the protagonist is a black woman. She is an unpaid intern despite being very good at her job, and Lottie (the protagonist) treats her horribly. And the Asian American cop is depicted as a stalker/creep. The only redeeming quality of this book is the artwork. The art is the reason I read it in the first place since I follow the artist on Instagram.

This was so fun—it’s a really good introduction to the comics; I’m totally hooked. Lottie is the kind of unlike-able in like she’s terrible in a way that makes her kinda actually likable. I love that in a character.
