Often intrigued to read anything O'Malley has a hand in so when I discovered this was at my library I placed a hold ASAP. I've got to say this was a little out there, and at one point I started questioning if I was entering the realm of being over caffeinated/over stimulated or if things really were getting this trippy (while reading). I, however, enjoy having those moments. I'm not 100% certain how I'm feeling, but it seems like a lot of fun and good things are happening with this series, plus Leslie Hung's artwork is great and pairs incredibly well with the story. I've already got Vol. 2 so I'll dive into that soon-ish!
I love the art style and the story was interesting. I did find it annoying how Lottie gave everyone nicknames.
This was such a weird and interesting read. I enjoyed it but it was a bit confusing.
I gather most of the confusion was intentional, though, since you're following the character and she's also thoroughly confused. I'm still not certain if the one character is alive to be honest, or if the protagonist is hallucinating.
It was a pretty interesting story, though the characters makes more than a few poor choices that bother me, and she's kind of a bitch, though I guess that's part of the point. But she does right in the end so I guess that helps my opinion of her.
I kind of liked the art style. That's always important to me in comics, because if I don't like the style it can be frustrating to read.
I really need to read the next one, cause that cliff hanger was an awful one.
