I liked the beginning. The middle part not that much. But it was the end that ultimately got me hooked on the story.

Difficult to rate this one because on the one hand, the ending was great and I am now definitely going to read the sequel.

But on the other hand it literally didn't hook me until about the last 2 hours of the audiobook and I was basically just bored for the first 80% of the book.

So thinking of this book as perhaps very long exposition for a series, I'm excited, but on it's own it was mostly "meh."
