Maybe I will pick this one back up. I wanted to like it. But I feel like the characterization of Darcy & Lizzie was just SO off. I absolutely believe that Lizzie was the first woman he had sex with. Have you seen his character? And Lizzie was way too submissive in this, it wasn’t like her at all. And there’s 90-something chapters??? I don’t even think I got through 15 chapters and I felt like I was reading forever. The spice wasn’t what you’d expect either, kinda disappointing.

It was interesting to read about what might have happened to Elizabeth, Darcy, et all after the end of Pride and Prejudice, but this is too romance-novelish for me. Not in a classy way, either. Hard-core Jane Austen fans will probably be disappointed.

Slow but an okay read if you’d like to explore the world of pride and prejudice. Could’ve gone without wickham and the bingley arc
