I thought this book was pretty good. There were some sentences that were written so weirdly, like they didn't fit the tone of the rest of the book or even the rest of the paragraph they were in. I think it needed a better editor.

Also, book loses MAJOR points for misgendering Dr. James Barry. Put some fucking respect on trans' peoples lives.

Oh yeah also it barely mentions how Watson and Crick stole Rosalind Franklin's photos. It says it was "controversial." I think Rosalind should have gotten the credit (in this book and worldwide) and I thought the author took a pretty tepid approach to informing us about this.
