At first, I was skeptical. It started off slow for me, but I can wholeheartedly tell you to KEEP READING! This book went from something unsure I wanted to continue, to one of my new favorite reads. I loved the ending, but a teensy tiny part of me would’ve liked the time between Nora and Charlie’s reunion to have been a little longer, or to go more in depth of Nora’s life without Charlie in it. The whole Libby taking over management thing was very predictable, but that didn’t stop me from devouring and thoroughly enjoying this read so much. Nora and Charlie had so much chemistry, even from their first meeting at lunch. The past few romances I’ve read haven’t made me excited, but the chemistry between these two was electric (and plenty to make up for the past few books I’ve read). Also, bonus points for it taking place mostly in North Carolina (my home) and also New York (where I went to school!) There’s so much more to say but I’ll end with this: keep reading! It is so great, you won’t regret it!!!!

My first Emily Henry book and I was not disappointed! I am not typically a romance reader but I did read this for a book club at my work and I was hooked. The love story was captivating and addictive, with a slight mystery that keep me interested. The best part of course (this may be spoilers IDK) is that it was eventually wrapped up in a nice beautiful happy little bow. Yay! I will for sure be checking out some of her other books. She writes in a way that is so easy to read, and very unlike yet the same for romance. I understand why she is so beloved to romance readers! The main couple was so cute!!
