I'm so disappointed by this story, it had so much potential!!!

1) I feel as though the author relied too heavily on covid-19 as theme in this story, we had to live through it I don't then wanna read about it in a bookšŸ„“

2) the vibe I got was that this book was meant to be a ghost story, it wasn't really... I felt that it could have been improved with a heavier focus on the ghost theme and less on the virus theme

3) we never really learnt much about the ghost in the story, nor did it have much interaction or story time, I really feel the story would have been so much better had we had more interaction and explanation about the haunted aspect of things

4) the whole poltergeist vibes didn't work, there needed to be more haunting and chilling vibes for it to have the right effect

It had the makings of a good story, guy isolated in what is now a haunted house, a creepy backstory as to why the property was haunted, and some good old fashioned scares, it just wasn't executed in the right way and focused on the wrong elements imo.

A solid meh. I would've loved for it to be drawn out more than just a handful of pages of cheap spooks. Maybe a little more into the ghosts and the growing spooks with them, not just throwing you into big scares. BUT for a short, free story, it wasn't all that bad, I could've just used more.
