I enjoy this book more than the first. But... it's lacking.

I love Logan as a character. Grace is alright. She doesn't strike me as an amazing character that I want to root for. But I still like her, just not "oh I want to read more books about Grace."

Also the romance seems so fast-pace, considering it's a pretty short book. But it's so fast it almost feel insta-lovey. I don't really mind though since I didn't come in with expectation for slow burn romance. i just wanted something short and fun to read. This was able to meet my expectation.

The ending... it felt like the problems were solved miraculously. The problems and conflict set up in this book doesn't have satisfying resolution. Again, I could see why. It focus more on the romance part than the conflict.

If you love the character I could see how this is a good book. But it was alright for me.

Weirdly enough, i /loved/ It.
It has a refreshing male character who's not a red flag. A respectful love story and side deep stories.
I loved their story, their dynamics and how real they feel.
They act and think like someone their age.
Sure, it's overly positive and probably would never have such a resolution in real life but who cares? nice.

I loved The Deal so much, I wasn’t sure how I would feel about The Mistake. I loved Logan in The Deal- what a good friend he was to G. I wasn’t a fan of his crush on Hannah.

Welllll- the opening of this book wasn’t my favorite, Logan still crushing hard. And to be honest, I wasn’t a fan of his first hook up with Grace. The fact it was all sex from the start- I prefer an emotional connection first. But that he only came back the second time because she “didn’t finish”- the EGO
