I am such a Jim Butcher fangirl and also cannot help but love that the audiobooks of these are performed by James Marstars (Spike from Buffy) and he just does an amazing job of bringing them to life. I find listening to these to be such a source of enjoyment and comfort. Like I always know what i’m getting with these books, but I don’t mind it, I enjoy that they are somewhat repetitive. I feel reading Dresden files is just inserting yourself into the Chicago urban fantasy and experiencing the wild happenings with all my favourite fictional characters (Harry, Bob, Murphy, Thomas, and can’t forget Mouse and Mister, and now Molly).

I enjoy this series but I have a problem with the way the author writes women.

I love this series and this book in particular. It looks like an arc I don’t really care for is ending and one that looks really promising is starting. A throwaway character that I liked got a LOT of love and is getting more down the line.
