This was stupid. The book ends on a big dumb fuck off speech.  It's a book of obviousness (to anyone remotely alert to social injustice) and pandering. The police are a scary force and wholly unapologetic in their bullheadedness, OBVIOUSLY. Being an immigrant and raising children in America can present difficulties, OBVIOUSLY. Neurodivergence makes it hard to communicate, OBVIOUSLY.
Also, everything wrapped up neatly in a bow? Are you kidding me? Fuck off, that's not real either!
. This sort of felt like someone prompt engineered an AI to write a book about immigrant social inequality and police brutality. At least it went by quick.

This book was a great read. I hadn’t thought of how India’s Caste system could affect those in the Western World’s workplace.  Class, privilege, and the “model minority” post immigration are at the core of this book.
