The horror in this book is indeed horrifying, but the word "upsetting" describes it best. The plot moves quickly and the twists are genuinely surprising and engaging. I found the ending satisfying--the glimmer of hope was sorely needed.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes dark fiction and thrilling twists. But beware: the twists you feel will also be the twisting of your own stomach.

The back half of this book is a fever dream.  What a ride.

I don’t even know what to say. I did not hate the book at the end. But I did throughout most of it. I didn’t want to finish, but I wanted to see how it all wrapped up.

Oh my god… i have never read anything like this before and i don’t think i ever will again. This story is shocking, beautiful, funny and horrific. The plot twists are so good, you won’t see them coming. The story unravels in a way that sent me through a wave of emotions. I would recommend this book in a heartbeat.
