I loved this book! It has everything I like about , Fantastic characters, who you just can't help but like. Echo and Noah are both teenagers with less than perfect lives. Incomes the counselor Mrs. Collins, who brings them together, and helps them learn to heal. This was a love story, but so much more, so real, so raw, and so very wonderful. a good story
Overall impression:
Pushing the Limits is a great contemporary novel with compelling character arcs and relationships.

I wanted to like this book more than I did. I really liked the concept, but there were so many things that killed it for me.
Echo's friends were the worst. With the exception of Lila, I wanted to throw them all off a cliff. I know high school girls can be superficial, but cripes. That bad?
I wanted to like Noah, but he just wasn't bad. I think if more had been shown before he hooked up with Echo, it would have driven the point home a bit more.
However, it was the ending chapters that really did me in. Talk about tying everything up nicely. I just couldn't.
Throughout the whole book, I felt as if it was just slow. Not a whole lot of action really, and then when we got to the action, it had be giving my Kindle the stink eye, saying "Really?" because I just couldn't imagine.

I don't read much contemporary, but I could definitely read more Katie McGarry!
This book was different from other books mainly do to the tragic events that happened. I hate how Echo had trouble with standing up for herself , I loved Noah he was pretty amazing.
As a one time high school teacher, you give me some messed up kids trying to overcome a horrible situation and I'm going to just fall right down on my knees and let my heart bleed! I do read quite a bit of YA and I have to say I love this book because it took hardship to a whole new level. It wasn't typical YA, although it did remind me of another one of my favorite books (which I read a few times a year) and that is part of what made me love it I think.
It's usually the girl that I end up really endearing myself to and pulling for so much. Not this book. I felt for Echo, but she had resources and help. I loved her personality, but her man was my hero on so many levels in this book. Noah is the one that truly ripped my heart out. Of course, the manner in which the bad boy stoner deals with everyone and everything, including falling in love for the first time, is what sealed the deal on this one.
I will for sure read this book again!

wow, just wow. One of the best books of this genre that I have ever read. The feelings and emotions portrayed are just so real and as a reader they suck you in. Every word felt so real. The writing was phenomenal. Loved every minute of it. I have a feeling this is a book I won't ever be forgetting.
This book has been on my TBR list for a long time. But in the past, it didn’t really do anything for me…it didn’t call to me. Then, when I was looking for a book to read, I started browsing books on my kindle. And the title of this practically jumped off the page and screamed “READ ME!!!!!!” and since I can (normally) take a hint, I decided to read it.
I was surprised by this book. I didn’t expect to love it as much as I did. I really enjoyed Echo’s little mystery of what happened in her past. It was just heart breaking when it all came out. And my heart also broke for Noah. I really wanted him to get what he wanted. And between the two stories, Noah and Echo had me both laughing and crying.
While this was my first book by Katie McGarry, it definitely won’t be my last. This author is incredibly talented. Not only did she make me care about the characters, she made me laugh with them and cry for them. For anyone in doubt about this book, it’s a must read.

Noah:
Ugh. So much about this book that I hated. Insta-love. Cheesy teenage dialogue. Don't waste your time.
Hab die ganze Nacht gelesen,
Das Buch ist gut geschrieben, aber mich stören dann doch so paar Dinge.
