A fun new spooky children's series I read while at work. Great for Goosebumps fans, diverse and with fun illustrations!

Such a fun story! I'll be passing this along to my neice for sure

Read this to my 6yo! He absolutely loved it and wants to go back to the library for more books in the series. It had the right amount of action and good illustrations. It also had awesome diversity.

This is a fast-moving little book appropriate for the targeted age range. The inclusion of folklore from Guyana makes it stand out (and is the reason I read it). The characters are diverse and appealing, though not all that complex (as expected given the age of readers and the length of the book). The writing is good at pulling a reader in and maintaining attention.
