The short chapters and alternating view points make this a quick read.
I enjoyed the characters and their interactions. There are some very nicely wrought sentences and some parts made me laugh out loud.
My favourite of his books that I've read.

The first chapter of this book was so relatable, and I thought we’d be on a good path. However, the book as a whole fell a little short for me. The dialogue didn’t feel natural, and I didn’t feel any chemistry between the two leads. It reminded me a lot of The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry which I also found boring, so I guess walking books aren’t for me.

I nicked this off my partner before he could read it and devoured it in a week. As a walker myself I recognised some of the routes and the romance was great to follow. He's the best author I know for writing witty female characters.
