Cute story from the author of “One Day” about two lonely people who cross paths when they go on a group walk. Very predictable, but quirky. I very much related to Marnie. There were also bits about England that I knew from Taylor Swift songs and bam! Worlds collided.

Really enjoyed the book - bonus points for references about F1 and the Weimar regime (unexpected) - sweet romance

I’ve been saying I need some candy and this is right off the dessert menu. It’s a rom-com, and not my go-to category. It reads more like a screenplay than a novel. It’s very visual, which I love, with music references throughout hinting at a great soundtrack for whichever streaming service picks it up. And I hope one does. Two lost souls find themselves on a hike across England with awkward conversations, misunderstandings, flirtations, near skinny dippings in icy waters, English pubs, and lonely nights in countryside inns with postcards that read “No Guests After 10, Please!” And as much as I didn’t want to, I loved it. Like really, really loved it! It’s cute, and fun and won’t change your life but might make you smile. It did for me.
