Of the two books I read this summer about people meeting cute on ridiculously unrealistic long walks, I liked this one better because I prefer books about people post their prime finding love again. I found it ironic that a book about an editor would foster the idea that a couch potato could suddenly learn to hike for days without getting seriously injured.

Second time reading this book and loved it even more on audio if that's possible! David Nicholls makes such astute observations on the minutiae  of everyday life in a way that so cleverly balances between being sensitive and funny. I love the characters, the story, the walk, the route. It's just lovely.
