I received this as an arc from the author and I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.

This story was beyond amazing. I loved the beginning, the fact that we didn’t know how they met and what had happened the night before just drew me in to story in such a great way. Hayes and Betty had a really sweet story and I loved them together.

Shaw Hart has a great way of storytelling that I really enjoy and this was a perfect example of that. The story was both sweet and steamy and had very little drama. I loved it.

Betty, the female lead, has spent her life sheltered and guarded by her celebrity parents. Now out in the world, she plans to live her own life in a small town away from the city. Hayes, the male lead, is big, tough, and scarred but Betty isn’t intimidated and he enjoys her company. Her parents want her protected, he wants an excuse to be around her, but her reaction to him being her bodyguard isn’t going to be pretty…

This short story is dual POV, well written, and cute and steamy. Both lead characters are virgins but they’re both hot for each other and have the same life goals. They just need to get past their concerns. I enjoyed the relationship development though I wasn’t happy with how long it took Hayes to tell Betty what was going on with her parents.

I received a complimentary copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Shaw Hart is back at her finest!
I loved these characters.
Gotta love a broody guy who'll do anything for his girl - and that's this story.
Loved what happened at the beginning of the story that was revealed at the end.
Great book and a fun series!

instant love

Oh! What a great instant love story with a sweet-gruff, larger than life man and a curvy, independent woman. Cute epilogues and HEA.
