I guess it was bound to happen eventually, but this was the first Christina Lauren book that I’ve read and felt underwhelmed by. While it was a predictable story overall, that much I could live with. What I had a harder time with was the main characters making the same mistakes over and over. Sam and Tate were both frustrating individually as well as collectively. And the ending, although it tied things up somewhat, still felt rushed and unfinished.

Worth the read

If you believe in true love this book is for you. I was heart broken at the beginning for that young girl and it reminded me of being young and in love. We don't always make the best choices but in the end we can make choices that work for us. Good book overall.

I discovered this book via Smart Bitches, Trashy Books podcast in which the authors were interviewed. It was a really fun read. A nice twist on coming of age and 2nd chance romance, with some interesting elements around children of divorce and fame.

I regret being excited about this... nothing happened and Tate never crew a back bone, so there is absolutely no satisfaction in any of this book... Nothing happens and it barely ended. I could cry I'm so mad.

It’s a cheesy love story with a predictable ending but does that make it any less fun to read. It was an easy read and I couldn’t put it down! I love when a writer makes you feel a part of the story.
