What this book is not: a quick to love romance that makes you feel butterflies.

What this book is: a slow, meandering look at discovering how to be who you are and how to love that person. Maybe this book could have been edited down but honestly it gave that time for Albert to grow, to understand, to accept, and to act on it. I was definitely crying towards the end because Albert is one of those characters that you can't help but cheer for.

I read this last year and gave it only 3,75 stars. I enjoyed it on audio much more though. Especially the authors recordings at the end.
