The Black Cat is a short creepy story that is sinister from start to finish, as the main character and narrator spiral out of control.

Didn't like the story at all. I found it to be quite similar to 'The Cask of Amontillado' at some point. I also do not necessarily like the way that Poe writes his stories.

There's just something so enticing about Poe's stories. While the psychology isn't exactly realistic, it's interesting and presents horrific ideas in such a wonderfully creepy way. His writing is the only one that really creeps me out, but in a way that I enjoy it.
