This book is intense and, just like the rest of the series, keeps you on your toes from the first chapter! I love this cast of main characters and really hope the last few lines mean that she is writing another book in this series!

3.5 probably
I enjoyed the other books in her series more tbh. I love the intentionality and integration of addressing medical racism and other concepts into the plot but the dialogue felt so forced sometimes. The way they talked about “the AI” felt a bit cringey and not the scary take she was probably going for.

Coded Justice is timely and terrifying. It is difficult to imagine ourselves within striking distance of Ray Bradbury's wildest fantasies. However, Stacey Abrams manages to walk us through the realities of our current relationship with technology and information in a way that is both enlightening and thought-provoking. Coded Justice is fast-paced and fascinating. In a time when the White House is opening up relationships between big tech and the medical-industrial complex, Abrams's latest thriller might leave us with some points to ponder.

Such good stuff. Avery Keene is back and better than ever. This story is perfect for our times and possibly gives us a glimpse of the future if we continue in this AI race with no guardrails.

Stacy Abrams is quickly finding herself up there with my favorite thriller authors.

Exciting and terrifying. Avery and team investigate an AI company to see if there are any skeletons that could threaten the company’s going public. Great story with subtle warnings about the omnipresence of AI in our world.
