Eh it was okay.
Altered by fire was a super quick RH book. Even though I flew through it, not a lot happened. Well other than her sleeping with the guys..which happened rather quickly. You’d think she would be still sad after seeing her sort of boyfriend/but really a constant hookup being murdered but nope. She was ready for more dick. You go girl.
The whole mob part of this book was weird. I honestly have no idea what actually happened in this other than all the smut that happened. Still confused as to why their previous hookup died and why they just needed to kill Natalia’s dad. I get that he’s in the mob, like the mob boss but he didn’t really care about his daughter. Especially with the ending we know how much he doesn’t.
Speaking of that awful cliffhanger, ugh I hated it. I guess I’m intrigued enough to dive into it but I’m hoping that something will actually happen in it. I love smut just like the next person but give me a damn story!

If you’re looking for a book with a group of messed up highly sexual individuals this is the book for you. The dynamics between the group is very interesting. Especially with the way everyone feels towards arson. Who’s craziness is hot as heck, I might be as messed up as Natalia. It’s also interesting to see how they are towards Natalia. Some of them obviously have feelings for her and other are clearly in denial. Even arson who keeps talking about wanting to kill her can’t seem to stay away from her. And hawke so says he doesn’t care seems to be enamored, even if it’s only sexually. I can’t wait to see what happens from here on.

After her psychopath of a father shots Natalia’s latest “boyfriend” whilst engaged in sex and then makes her watch him being set on fire, she flees for her life. Finding sanctuary in a church. However the hot priests are not what they seem. And her sex addiction is given several doses. It’s a fast packed ride. Ending in her and the 5 priests facing capture or death.

DNF. I think this reinforced that I don’t like bully romances (not sure if that’s how it is officially categorized but that’s what it felt like- the men were mostly horrible) and smut without any decent plot. I think the smut was justified by the FMC because she said she was one of the “lucky” girls who could orgasm from penetration alone.. hence why she was willing to have lots of bad sex with no foreplay or congenial relationship I guess.

I can normally count on books by these two ladies to be scorching, but this one, whew!! Natalia, our main character, has fled her crime boss father’s home after he murders a man...that was in her at the time. Thinking she’ll run away and become a nun, she stumbles into a filthy collection of “priests” instead.
Coming out of a drug and alcohol haze, several years in the making, it is quickly clear that Talia’s addictions include sex. Luckily the men are happy to help with that, even if she is the daughter of their next mark. From the leader, Hawke, that forces her submission so well, to the gentle giant, that is anything but, or even Arsen, who is just as likely to kill her as he is to bend her over, this one is no slow burn!
This book was a hot, quick read and left me panting for my own set of priests, or at least an Arsen to call my own! As usual, this one ends in a cliffhanger, so be prepared for that!

Oh my god... or should I say priests ;)
This book was insane and I loved every page of it!!
Natalia has some serious problems. Her father is the head of a Russian mob syndicate, and she's been turning to drugs, alcohol, and sex to cope for years. She's seen lots of horrible stuff that no one should ever see, and because of that she fits in pretty great with five fake priests.
After running away to a church to become a nun (lol I know even she thought it wasn't the best idea) Natalia finds five sexy priests who don't seem to be the most dedicated men of god. After quickly realizing these guys aren't real priests, it is revealed why they're really hiding out, and why they aren't letting her go.
I loved the characters in this book. Natalia was so strong to have survived what she has. She has some interesting coping methods that lead to great interactions with the guys. Hawke is the leader and definitely asserts his dominance in a cold and controlled way. Mace is a sweetheart but apparently that's not his normal personality. Weston and Colt are fun but serious when they need to be. And Arsen, Arsen is insane. They all give Natalia something different and provide lots of steam for this read.
I loved the switching POV in this book. Natalia is the main perspective, but it also alternates between the guys' perspectives too. This gave us insight into the guys' true intentions and the feelings they begin to develop for Natalia.
This book was exciting, captivating, and sexy as hell! It did end on a major cliffhanger, but instead of making me mad it just solidified my need for book 2. Altered by Lead seriously cannot come soon enough!!
