This was a great read I really liked Mac and Freya’s friendship. 
My biggest issue is while I understand having low self esteem and body issues Freya’s obsession with it almost felt like body dysmorphia. Every thought was about her appearance or her weight. It was realistic but so heavy handed that at times I was downright annoyed by it.

I wasn’t the biggest fan of the writing, as well as the focus on Freya’s insecurities. While Mac is very fat positive, Freya isn’t. And that never really changes,

as Freya celebrates weight loss in the epilogue

Overall it was an easy read, however check content warnings. Freya and Mac are really cute together, they chemistry and bickering were really entertaining.
