This was so wholesome and awarding it had me angry it had me happy it pulled at my heartstrings. I love the little touch in paperback of all the little illustrations for each chapter can't wait to read the next book in the series.
This was the perfect low stakes fantasy novel. The characters are completely charming, and it is such a cozy fantasy!

I have realized that I do love reading these cozy fantasy magical books.
Travis Baldree did exactly what the blurbs say. This is the sweetest, softest, most heartwarming read. No anxiety involved.
As advertised, this is a perfect intersection of cozy and fantasy. Still plenty of issues and conflicts to keep the reader invested, with stakes that clearly are vastly important to the characters, while not (usually) too life threatening. Highly recommended, and quite breezy.
