Super cosy and delightful. Fun characters just familiar enough to love easily while still being interesting, and the overall low-stakes-ness of the plot is advertised from the beginning so it’s not disappointing. Makes a great bedtime read that will give you peaceful dreams filled with coffee and friends.

I would’ve never picked up this book based on the cover (it looks cringy sorry) in fact I have walked past it many times in the book store, but this was picked for my queer fantasy book club. When I first started reading I was like oh brother… but truly, this was sweet and charming and an easy feel-good read.
