Great audiobook. Narrator/author is tremendously funny and heartwarming. Like having a drink with a best gal pal.
Getting to join Mamrie on her year of adventures was like spending a Sunday at home: you're excited you have so much ahead of you, but it's a bit of a bummer when it ends and you know you have to go back into the real world. She starts you off in the Poconos with her beige plate of buffet food and leaves you seeing her excited for her next set of adventures.
If you don't like stories about '00s music, this is not the book for you because Mamrie has a few of those in here. If you like hearing about someone be single and enjoy their closest friends now that she's out of a relationship, read this book.... like now. And don't be surprised if you come out of it appreciating uncanny ability to make the most random funny analogies... and sometimes she even makes them quite punny ("Dustin Checks In" was especially funny to me)!

i didn't quite enjoy this one as much as i enjoyed ms. hart's previous book. also, she said that pterosaurs are flying dinosaurs, which is just incorrect, and tragically an inaccuracy that i cannot forgive.
I love Mamrie with all my heart, she is one of the funniest and most genuine YouTube personalities out there and this book was as hilarious and wild as she is.
The honesty! The humor! The willingness to say yes to life! Such an easy, heartfelt, dumb, wonderful read.
