This book was super fun as an audiobook! It was such an interesting plot. I did figure out the ending pretty early on but it still held my attention and had me listening any chance I could to see what would happen. I still had some questions at the end, but overall I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a thriller with an interesting premise.

This Is such an amazing experiance to read. I love the extracts of script used for the plot and I also loved the twist. I love how self aware the book was as well. Definitely worth the read!

Run Time / Catherine Ryan Howard

⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

So, as I keep my CRH saga going, I gotta say I really enjoyed this. I really appreciate how all of her works are so different. Loving all the different concepts.

Adele comes back to Ireland to shoot a hush hush indie horror movie in the woods of West Cork. Sparking from a previous experience that exiled her away to the States she takes the money and flies.

From there, we get a duel story, of a movie script that’s seemingly replicating Adele’s previous experiences as well as what is happening currently.

The tension, it was a page turner in the fact that you wanted to see what happened/is happening. It’s been a while since I read anything in the horror genre. It was a good reintro.

The villain reveal, while appreciated, was expected.

I suppose the reason I gave this 3.5 is that like in horror films, the ending generally is not satisfying. Though props, this is acknowledged in the last chapter!

The duel timeline could be a bit confusing, but I liked the difference and similarities.

Will definitely continue in this journey!
