This is my third Catherine Ryan Howard book, and EVERY TIME I'm completely whiplashed from the ending! She is the absolute queen of plot twists on plot twists in a thriller. The plot twists are so deeply buried under other plot twists!

Loved 56 days, but didn't love this one. Some elements felt very repetitive. Moments of tension didn't quite hit the high spot. The twist was quite obvious before the reveal came. Main character not likeable.

As or MC said this gets more complicated than it needs to.
I really like Adele and her parts in the books where good if a bit predicable and maybe thats the reason why all this meta thing gets so convoluted, for the author to have a final reveal but in my opinion been the only woman in a movie set sounds already like a horror movie for me.

Really bogged down in the middle, with several twists shoved in at the end (some successful, some not). Not the best from this author, but interesting enough.
