What a lovely way to wrap up this series. This is my second favorite book in Elsie's Gold Rush Ranch series, after The Front Runner (book 3). I wasn't sure how I would like the age-gap (14 years) in this romance, but I think it was handled well by the author. The MMC, who is older and at a different stage in his life, did not stand in the way of the FMC, who is younger and still working on her education and her career. There was good character development and the ending of this book is very sweet and gives all the feel-good vibes.

And don't forget, Elsie posts bonus content for all of her books on her website!

I want to be an age gap romance girly but 14 years is so long. That aside, I did enjoy. Elsie Silver can do no wrong in my eyes. Now just waiting for her next release in September!

Without a doubt False Start is my favourite of The Gold Rush Ranch series, I absolutely loved every single moment of this book!

The tension, the angst every single interaction between Nadia and Griffin was filled with such sizzling chemistry! There’s a few moments where Griffin does or says something that makes me swoon and melts my heart 🫠and the best part for me was the ending I was literally tearing up for those last few chapters and the ending was one of the best I’ve ever read it was so beautiful.

Elsie Silver’s writing is always so easy to read, I loved seeing the characters from the previous books and just the whole small town feeling.
