I have to start by saying that I am a huge fan of this author and I love her writing. This story was great but I did not like the characters. I cannot say specifically what it was but I didn't care for Noelle in Rock the Boat and my opinion didn't change with her story. Lane was okay, just not the strong, swoony bbf I prefer. I was nice to have some follow up on Easton and Lark's story.

I read the first book and I'm happy that the characters were also in this book. Following these 2 and the added sister in the story with her drama was interesting. I couldn't put it down once I started reading and was very happy with the ending.

I loved it! It was a little more serious than I thought but no less interesting. I liked the story. I'm already in love with the amazing characters from "Rock the Boat" so that hasn't changed. It's quite well-written and very entertaining book.

Lane has a dark past about which no one knows. He doesn't want to revisit it. And now he has found Noelle, a beautiful woman whom he can easily love. She is perfect for him and in his heart he knows that she is the one. The only problem seems to be her unwillingness to leave her life behind for him. They have tried long distance relationship and so far it is working. Now it's time for them to be together.

Noelle knows that she must give Lane a chance. But has made a life for herself and it scares her to think about moving away. What if they didn't work? Where would she go then? In any case she is taking a break from work and visiting Lane in the city. Some time together, and they may finally figure their relationship out.

When Noelle reaches the city and is with Lane at last things doesn't go as they anticipated. Apparently there are many challenges which they must face before they can convince their hearts that they belong together.

It is a sweet and romantic story, with laugh-out-loud moments as well as cry-like-a-baby moments. It's both sad and happy, a perfect mix. I loved reading it and would definitely recommend to all romance lovers especially if you like your characters with a dark past.

Great read!

Was quite a bit different from the first book, but it was still really good! I liked how this story was a bit more angsty than the first. Of course there are secrets between the couple, but they were more easily shared and open in this story.

This book was full of suspense and drama. It definitely held my attention through the whole book, keeping me guessing as to what was going to happen next. I really liked Lane and Noelle's story, they are a great couple together. I just wish I had been able to see their relationship develop from the beginning, instead of being 6 months into it already at the beginning of the book. I think that prevented me from being able to connect with Lane and Noelle. That is just a personal preference though. This is still a great book and I'm looking forward to seeing if there will be any more books in this series in the future.
