I know I read the TW but holy moly did this get darker than I ever thought. I'm sobbing and crying but damn, my tearfilled eyes will not rest tonight, I need book 3 and I need it now!

This book was not really my jam. I felt like it was very confusing for me to follow with all of the secrets and hidden backstory. It is also extremely dark and twisted. I had trouble wrapping my head around the MMC doing a total 180 in his actions and feelings for the FMC.

Definitely not for the faint of heart is all I have to say. There were very horrible and disgusting scene where I just had to put my kindle down for a second and gather myself. But I have to say again there are content and trigger warnings at the beginning of the book. Read at your own risk ;). I did not enjoy it as much as the first one but I’m looking forward to the third to see how it continues.

Careful this is the scene that had me rethink it all.

Zia, Michele’s “lover” gets pregnant but he forced her to get an abortion and after when they’re back at his place they get trash to eat and he serves her the aborted baby as soup. She detect a half developed leg in the bowl.
