Personally I feel that Vicious would've been better left as a stand alone, or maybe for Vengeful to have been more of a spinoff in the same universe that didn't include the characters from Vicious in it.

“Vengeful” had me on the edge of my seat the entire book. I love the way it was structured starting back in time working its way to the big climax. The new characters were great additions.

I do think the climax of the book was slightly underwhelming. As well as it ended with so many loose ends. I wished that there was more Victor and Eli throughout, but I loved getting more of Eli’s background story (SUPER tragic though). Crossing my fingers that the duology really is becoming a trilogy because I need answers!!!
