Easy read and I found myself more and more engaged in their stories - but I guess I was hoping for something more than the 2 white ladies gaining “success” and clarity. While all 3 stories ended in hope, the only one who truly sacrificed was still on a mountain with no money in a patriarchal caste society. The fact that Guilia’s goals are to take something sacred from India and profit for “European” customers and Sarah could pay the hefty price and walk away from a lucrative career with plans to vacation in Florida made the whole story leave a bitter taste in my mouth.

Me gustó la forma en que entrelaza las historias de mujeres tan diferentes, que viven en mundos totalmente distintos pero que al final nos enseña que la búsqueda de una vida mejor es una constante.
Que definir el camino de cada quien es un gran acto de libertad.
