I really enjoyed the beginning. But as I got to the 30% mark, I didn’t really follow where the story was going or what the main purpose is. I put it down because it was feeling endless and pointless and I haven’t picked it up since or even think about it. It is keeping me from listening to another audiobook so I am DNFing so I can move on. I am a little upset because I loved another book by the author, sadly this wasn’t for me.

The book felt very....vague. like I couldn't get a straight answer on what it was really about and I felt like a lot of things were just skipped over to continue making everything vague. I understand that this was intentional but it just wasn't my cup of tea for a book

 This is a stunning take on womanhood, that is in a genre that doesn't really work for me and read during a time where I really didn't want to read (but the book was due back). Regardless, I can still see how good it was even if it wasn't something I needed at the moment.
