As a museum professional, this was a harrowing read. So much destruction for absolutely nothing. Well written, well structured, I was on the edge of my seat - a fantastic book.

I found The Feather Thief to be underwhelming and uninteresting. There was a great deal of information about the exotics market, but the story about the feather thief himself, I feel, falls flat.
