Very very sweet ♡. No doubt 'bout it.
It was a bit fast-paced for my liking, though, with a lot of opurtunitues for character building dialogue that wasn't taken. I don't get the feeling that I got to know the characters as well as I could have with the same amount of pages.

this was my first mlm book i ever read, before it became widely popular and they made a netflix movie for it. accurate lgbtq+ representation is not difficult for authors to write about. not only did alice oseman absolutely nail this, her works have opened up a conversation about what it means to come out at an early age in the 21st century. sure, it's a cute book. but actually understanding where oseman is coming from while reading the entire heartstopper series should make you realize how fucked up people can be in the real world.
