I dunno maybe 2.5/5? It was a fun plot but felt like it just dragged the whole time I was never itching to read it. Maybe it’s because of the holidays but I just couldn’t get into it.

Also, it was mentioned multiple times that no one knows the truth of what happened to the two little brothers (danny and Harrison?) but that was never told in the story. I’m just assuming Sophie was lying and Vincent was telling the truth but it was just mentioned a few times so I thought it would be a big reveal at the end.

Popcorn thriller, easy to read but not too straightforward

Brutal but really well crafted. So so many twists and turns! Will absolutely read the rest of her books.

It wasn't too predictable, and the writing was good and easy to follow. All characters were hateable so it was hard to root for anyone.
