Six creepy tales covering everything from things that go bump in the night to ghosts, demons, monsters under the bed, and a pendant that lets its wearer see into dreams and the dreamer's worst evils and fears. Each story is the perfect length for a chilling bedtime read - if you can fall asleep after, or binge read the whole thing in a couple of hours one dark night. Some of the tales are more spine-tingling than others and some will have you looking over your shoulder at every little noise, but they're all fast paced, entertaining reads. Maybe not so much entertaining as frightening, depending on your own personal fears. The Pendant did it for the arachnophobe in me! I spent the rest of the night just knowing one of those furry little monsters was in bed with me!

Night Night, Sleep Tight is a horror anthology comprising of six short, novella-esque scary stories. Each one is written by a female author, which I think is awesome.

The first story, The Sleeping Ones, is more of an introduction. It's really short and involves ghosts. I thought it was a decent way to start out. If your mind is overactive like mine tends to be, this story might creep you out. Are those shadows lurking in the dark normal, or are they something much more sinister?

Under My Bed is the second story. It was a bit strange. I felt a bit confused while reading it, and I wasn't sure if I was going crazy or not. It's an odd story, and I don't really know how I felt about it. It's about monsters under the bed.

Story three is called Villisca Unraveled. It's about a group of writers who decide to go to a house where axe murders occurred. Needless to say, these writers get a whole lot more than inspiration. It's definitely a fun read. I really liked the way it ended. Kinda crazy.

Story four is called Butcher's Wife, and it was the scariest one of all, at least for me. It has a Bloody Mary-esque vibe, and boy oh boy, does it deliver on the creepy factor. I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Girls with a prank video channel decide to summon a demon. What could go wrong?

Embers and Ashes is the fifth story. It was a bit strange, too. Shifters, vampires, and girls turning up dead, stitched back together after being sliced open. Yikes! I wasn't overly keen on this story. It's okay, but wasn't really my cup of tea.

The sixth and final story is called The Pendant, and it's probably my favorite one. It's got a twist to it that I really liked, and it's also a fun read. Definitely didn't expect it to go the direction it did, but I enjoyed how it played out. I won't spoil anything about this one, though. You'll have to read it to see why I liked it so much.

Overall, I found two of the stories to be really good reads, two of them were just okay, and two of them were a little underwhelming for me.

Night Night, Sleep Tight is a decent anthology, though, and if you enjoy short horror stories, you might like to give it a whirl.

I'm rating it 3.5 stars.
