A combination of personal experiences and scientific data about anxiety. Mostly insightful and informative, but has some eyebrow raising parts. I found the style a bit rambling and the tone was a bit annoying at times. But still, the content was important and mostly helpful in understanding anxiety. The part about ‘Cruel Ironies’ were especially relatable to me.

I've never read any books about living with anxiety except this one, and I'm pretty sure it's the best one. Her stories are real and great, she references her own studies and readings and gives concrete ways of helping yourself. I am about to start rereading immediately.

This could have been an interesting memoir. Instead it’s a disjointed and even disturbing self help book. Parts of it feel like an advertisement for the authors’ other work. I did love the physical book itself - the way the pages are laid out and the cover.
Full review coming soon, but damn I loved this book. I received an ARC from the publisher through my bookstore job.
