In the beginning i was pretty skeptical about this book because i didn't think that someone could write a whole book about a university professor changing their identity. But the book was captivating until the last page and even though said professor or other characters had my fuming because of their actions or their words, i enjoyed every page of this book. It is a very informative book about topics like race, identity and just the general difficulties people of different background face in this world.

Complex characters dealing with a complex issue, and lots of fun philosophical discussions. Would make an amazing play as well

I would have to read this book again to catch the nuances, but I really enjoyed the satirical ideas at play and the conversations. Wild and dense. Very academic.
