The first and second to last stories were my favorites. I was literally holding my breath reading them.

I liked this. In the way I like a lot of short story collections: that is to say I don’t necessarily understand them all, but there’s enough about them to keep me reading. Thought provoking and curious.

I didn’t enjoy this one quite as much as the first anthology, but I still loved it. As always I adore Olive Blake’s writing style, her characters and her stories. This was a great read and a very quick one too.
