The Dixon Rule was such a fun, easy read even though it had some heavy topics included. It had some seriously spicy moments, but also had instances that made me tear up!

Shane and Diana were so fun! Very much dislike to lovers and their banter was top tier! I loved them as neighbors and they did a little too well with their fake dating. The way they were there for each other through absolutely everything was what I loved most about this book. Sure they annoyed each other, but when either of them needed a helping hand or a shoulder to lean on, they would always show up. It was beautifully written!

Even though there were tough moments, there were also plenty of moments that had you laughing out loud. I love when a book can do both silly and vulnerable and Elle Kennedy did it perfectly with The Dixon Rule.

Exactly what I need from an enemies to lovers story. Mild spoiler, the story deals with dv and does so with a good balance of realism and grace. Neither of the big plot developments made this book feel overly heavy when they easily could have. So far I’m really enjoying Elle Kennedy’s brand of hockey romance
